Ogun lawmaker makes case for general hospitals

Lawmakers representing the Idiroko – Ipokia, Ogun state constituency Hon Ojo Adebowale Viwanu has called on state government and ministry of health to come to the aids of Idiroko general hospital

Hon Ojo Adebowale Viwanu stated this at Ogun state house of Assembly.

Adebowale, former chairman house committee on special duties explained that the present condition of the two general hospital is terrible and could never enhance qualitative health care delivery. He listed acute shortage of medical personnel, lack of staff quarters, ambulance, furniture, perimeter fencing among other challenges inhibiting the hospital from providing excellent healthcare for the people of the area.

He has therefore called on the Speaker of the state, Rt. Hon. Suraj Adekunbi Isola to use his good office to charge the state ministry of health to come to the aid of good people of Ipokia/Idiroko state constituency with a view to addressing these challenges.

Rt. Hon Suraju Ishola Adekunbi, Speaker of Ogun state House of Assembly appreciated Hon Ojo Adebowale for giving adequate representation to his people at the floor of the house since inception.

He explained that health is wealth and that it was very important for the people to have access to good health in Ipokia and Ogun State at large promising to use his good office to effect desired changes in the hospitals.
