Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Monday 15 January 2018 layed a wreath and released one of the 57 white pigeons, representing the 20 Local Governments and the 37 Local Council Development Areas in the state, as a symbol of peace. That was during the 2018 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration, held at the Arcade Ground, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
