Mr. Godwin Obi, a Boko Haram attack victim has appealled to kind hearted Nigerians as well as international organizations for assistance in form of financial succour and location of a his family.
Making this appeal in Lagos recently was Obi, a businessman who recently returned from the North East with a badly damaged and heavily bandaged hand, an injury his suffered from a recent Boko Haram attack that left about 22 people dead and many wounded in Gwarzo, Borno State recently.
Narrating his ordeal, Mr. Obi said he has lost all what he had laboured for in his life and the most heart breaking aftermath of the attack was the dislocation of his family. According to him, almost a month after the attack, he could not locate his children and other family members living with him as everybody ran into the bush and villages for their lives.
Mr. Godwin Obi a native of Imo State but has lived all his life in the northern part of the country. He estimated all his lost properties at N500 million. He said also that it was not the first time Boko Haram attacked him but he had to run for his dear life after all he labored for was burnt down and was also almost rendered handicapped.
He therefore appeals to relevant authorities and agencies including individuals to please come to his aid and also help him locate his families.
