Abuja Division of Court of Appeal ruled on Tuesday that Senate President Bukola Saraki must go back to the Code of Conduct Tribunal to defend himself on three out of the 18 counts charges of false assets declaration instituted against him by the Federal Government.
The three-man panel of the Court of Appeal led by Justice Tinuade Akomolafe-Wilson ruled that Saraki did not sufficiently defended himself against the three charges.

The tribunal had earlier dismissed all 18-count allegations against Saraki and acquitted him of the charges.

But government had appealed the acquittal.

Saraki however said he will appeal the verdict to the Supreme Court.
