Nigerians have been urged to move closer to God, through ceaseless prayers, for the restoration of the country’s lost glory.
The News Agency of Nigetia, NAN, reports that Pst. Anthony Amaefule, Senior Pastor, Living Faith Church in Lafia, Nasarawa state gave the advice on Sunday in Lafia in his Sunday Communion Service sermon entitled, “Recovery of your glory”.
The cleric expressed optimism that with the restoration of the nation’s lost glory, its economy would grow at the desired speed.
“Only God can give glory. If you have lost it, you can get it back. Glory is about abundance, greatness, wealth, favour, joy, contentment and the goodness of God upon one’s life.
‘’We can restore our glory, our country’s glory through constant prayers”.
“You need a revelation of the personality behind your challenges. You need a revelation of God and yourself because where a revelation is scarce, frustration continues.
‘’Revelation is simply God showing you what you need to know.
‘’So, you must be desperate in your prayers because only people desperate for a change achieve their goal.
”Everybody carries a deposit of glory. Nobody carries an infinite glory. So you must request for it, if not you will not make progress,” he said.
Amaefule stressed the need for the people to stop procrastinating and making excuses, adding that they needed to work hard, spiritually, to restore their personal glories and that of the country.
“Your journey of restoration begins with your decision not your procrastination. Your decision will initiate your action which will turn initiate God’s response toward your case and that of your country.”
