Delta CP tasks recruits on obedience

The Commissioner of Police in Delta, Mr Zanna Ibrahim, has admonished new recruits posted to his Command to operate within the provisions of the law.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, Ibrahim gave the charge at the command’s premises in Asaba while receiving the 237 Police Constables of Delta origin who recently passed out from the Police Training School, Benin.

He also advised them to be disciplined and dedicated to duty as well as show absolute respect to the rights of the citizens.

He also urged the new recruits to eschew corruption and be good ambassadors of the Nigeria Police Force at all times in the discharge of their duties and responsibilities to the nation.

The commissioner told the new constables that they would be posted to their respective local government areas of origin in furtherance of the police community policing initiative.
