Elder statesman Maitama Sule dies in Cairo

Alhaji Maitama Sule: dead

Alhaji Maitama Sule, a forrmer minister and elder statesman is dead.

Sule, who is also a former Nigeria Permanent Representative to United Nation died in Cairo, Egypt on Monday morning. He reportedly took ill last weekend and was flown out to Egypt Saturday.
