Nigeria’s Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has appointed Mr. Olukayode Pitan as the new Managing Director, Bank of Industry, BOI. The appointment one of the nine made for some Federal Government Parastatals, Agencies and Commissions by the acting President as announced by his office on Saturday.
The others appointments include Alh. Ali Usman as the Chairman of National Pension Commission, NPC and Mr. Funso Doherty as the Director-General of National Pension Commission.
Also, the Acting President appointed Mr. Manase Benga,Zaki Magawata, Ben Oviosun and Nyerere Ayim as Executive Commissioners of National Pension Commission.
In the same vein, Osinbajo named Mr Dikko Aliyu AbdulRahman as the Chairman, Governing Board of the Bank of Industry and Mr Emeka Nwakpa as Chairman, Governing Board of the Consumer Protection Council.
“All appointments into the National Pension Commission are subject to confirmation by the Senate; the others aren’t and are with immediate effect,” the presidency said.
