A printing press and business centre where fake Nigerian national identity and voters cards are being reportedly printed in large quantity has been uncovered in Lagos, southwest Nigeria.

The office, Rems Multimedia, located at 1, Governor’s road, College bus-stop in Ikotun, was raided by the police on Tuesday.

Its owner, Remi Adebiyi, has been arrested and detained at the Igando police division.

Items recovered at the scene in an operation led by one Inspector Ola, includes computers and machines the suspect was said to be using for the illegal printing.

It was reliably gathered that the police acted on a tip-off obtained through a suspect.

A source at the division where Adebiyi and one of his female staff were been detained, confirmed that the police have commenced full investigation into the matter.
