Governor Wike sacks his SSA Protocol

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has relieved his Senior Special Assistant  on Protocol, Sir Joe Akpa of his appointment.

A statement by Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media said that the governor wished Sir Akpa well in his future endeavours.

No reasons were given for the sack.

Joe Akpa who hails from Andoni Local Government area of the state had served three former Military Administrators of Rivers as Director of Protocol, like: Air Comdr. Sam Ewang , Col. Godwin Abbe and Col. Anthony Ukpo.
