Dr Reuben Abati, Special Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan on media and publicity was on Monday evening arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Abati was arrested by the anti graft agency in Abuja and was being detained at the Federal Capital Territory’s office of the Commission as at the time of writing this story.
EFCC has not stated any reason for the arrest of the former presidential aide as at the time of writing this story. But his arrest may be related to ongoing investigations of officials of the former administration of President Jonathan for corruption by the anti graft agency.
