Militants bomb Shell’s oil exporting facility

Some suspected militants blew up a major crude oil exporting facility ,which is known as Trans Ramos trunk line close to Odimodi Community in Iduwini Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday night. The facility belongs to Shell Petroleum Development Company (SDPC).

It was gathered at the time of filing this report that no militant group in the Niger Delta Region has claimed responsibility of the attack on the facility.

A community source who pleaded anonymity stated that the attack actually took place while adding that there was similar attempt last week but the unknown vandals could not succeed.

So far, SPDC is yet to react to the latest incident.

A local online newspaper based in Gbaramatu in Ogbe-Ijoh in Warri South West local government broke the news.

Details of the report remain sketchy at the time of filing this report.
