A close aide, who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday on condition of anonymity said the kidnappers were yet to make contact with the family on her whereabouts or for ransom.

Confirming the incident, the husband of the abducted, Dr Tokunbo Oshin, said he was left distraught not knowing the condition his wife and daughter were.

Mrs Oshin’s jeep was said to have been recovered after it was found abandoned at Idowa area in Ijebu-Ode on the same day.
