A Benin-based gospel singer, Mrs. Yvonne Omoarebokhae, who died recently in a hotel room in Benin, Edo state, is yet to be buried, investigations have revealed.

Confirming the situation to journalists in Benin, husband of the late gospel singer, Odion Omoarebokhae, said the family was yet to lay the remains of his late wife to rest as they were yet to receive the reports of the autopsy being conducted on her by the police.

Mrs. Omoarebokhae was found dead in a hotel room in the GRA, Benin, last month, after she allegedly lodged overnight in the hotel in company of a Lagos based Pastor, Apostle Psalm Okpe.

Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Chris Ezike, told journalists on phone that a first autopsy report was out. He added that the Command was waiting for a second autopsy report conducted on the late singer.

Ezike who confirmed that Apostle Okpe was still in police custody, stated that his fate depends on the outcome of the autopsy results.
