The Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has relieved Abdul Oroh of his appointment as Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in the State.
A statement by the government said Oroh, a long serving member of cabinet was removed in ‘the public interest’.
His removal was with immediate effect.
Oroh was a former member of the House of Representatives and had served as commissioner for agriculture under Oshiomhole.
Also, the Governor has approved the appointment of Mr. Kerry Emokpare as Commissioner-designate in the State.
Mr. Governor thanked Oroh for his invaluable services to the state and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
