President Muhammadu Buhari today received the first of the 219 girls freed from Boko Haram captivity and forced marriage.
Amina Ali was captured by Boko Haram on April 14, 2014 from Chibok Girls Secondary School, along with 279 other girls. Fifty seven of the girls managed to escape before they were herded into Sambisa Forest by the militants, ‘to be sold’ as Abubakar Shekau defiantly said weeks after the abduction.
