Serbian and world number one, Novak Djokovic has crushed Japan’s Kei Nishikori 6-3 6-3 to win his 6th title in Miami and record 28th Masters title, overall.
The match was concluded under 90 minutes, with Djokovic almost strolling to anticipated victory.
He has now won Miami three times in a row, being the champion in the past two years.
The victory also leapfrogged the tennis superstar ahead of legend Roger Federer, garnering $1.03million in prize money and taking his tally beyond $98million.
Federer had won $97.9million, although he had scooped more in endorsements.
