Leicester City consolidated their leadership of the English Premier League by beating visiting Southampton 1-0 at the King Power stadium.
The only goal of the match was scored by defender and team captain Wes Morgan in the 38th minute, helping the Claude Ranieri boys extend their lead to 69 points, seven points away from second placed Tottenham Hotspur, with 62 points.
Tottenham had dented their catching-up chances with a 1-1 draw against Liverpool FC late on Saturday.
