Ajimobi to commission UI/NLNG Engineering Lab

Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State will on Tuesday 29 March 2016 commission a $4million solution-driven engineering laboratory complex, at the Faculty of Technology, University of Ibadan, UI.

According to a statement signed by UI Director of Public Communication, Olatunji Oladejo and made available to the magazine, the first and the only automation complex in Nigeria is a product of partnership between the UI and Nigeria LNG Limited.

Oladejo disclosed that the facility was built by the premier university and equipped by Nigeria LNG Limited on an equal partnership basis of $2million each.

According to him, the laboratory will support the repositioning of science and technology in a way to reshape and promote the automation of all engineering processes for the purpose of increased productivity and efficiency in Nigeria.

Expected to grace the occasion are: the Minister for Health, Prof. Isaac Folorunso Adewole, and Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Olasupo Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso 1.
