Mostafa Fathi will not be available for Egypt when they face Nigeria in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Kaduna owing to abdominal muscle injury.
The Zamalek winger had started to feel the pain on the team bus prior to training and was excluded from the session as the team reached Al Haddaf pitch in 6th of October City.
Fathi will play no part in the Pharaoh’s crunch tie against the Super Eagles at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on 25 March.
