Large crowd of football enthusiasts thronged the Ahmadu Bello Stadium (ABS) to watch Super Eagles first training session on Tuesday in Kaduna.

The Eagles staged their first training shortly after their arrival in Kaduna for the first leg of the double-header clash in the 2017 AFCON qualifier against the Pharoahs of Egypt.

The Eagles would face the Egyptian side on March 25 and the second leg is expected to take place on March 29 in Alexandria, Egypt.

Large crowd of fans turned up to watch the Super Eagles first training, which began at about 4 p.m., featuring key foreign based players including Ahmed Musa, Mikel Obi, Kelechi Ihenacho and Ife Ambrose.

Other players who appeared for the training included Victor Moses and Odion Ighalo, while Arsenal young star, Alex Iwobi was on sit-out training following complaints of stomach upset.

Elderson Echiejele is the only player being awaited to join the camp.

Both the officials and players declined to speak to reporters after the training session.
