Heavy Police presence was reported this morning  in Kaduna’s Gbagyi Villa, a sprawling community that Governor Nasir El-Rufai has served demolition notice, despite a restraining court order.

The policemen came  in five Operation Yaki Patrol Vans as early as 5 am today and patrolled street by street.

Jittery and intimidated residents  were alarmed about what could be their mission, especially since they had won a court order against the government.

Reports said children have refused going to school. Workers and business men  are staying at home as they await with bated breath about what game was afoot.

The State House of Assembly is expected to discuss the plight of the community at plenary today.
