Egypt have announced a strong 23-man team to face Nigeria in the double-header Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, with Arsenal’s Mohamed Elneny, AS Roma’s Mohamed Salah and SC Braga’s Ahmed Hassan leading the attack.
Coach Hector Cuper’s squad is made up two other foreign based players and 18 local based professionals.
There are nine players from Zamalek and Al Ahly each.
The first leg holds on March 25 at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium with Alexandria staging the return leg four days later.
The north Africans lead Group G with six points from two games while Nigeria is second with four points from same number of games.
