The board of First Bank Holdings will be meeting on 22 March to discuss the group’s audited financial statements for 2015.
According to a statement sent to the Nigerian Stock Exchange by the company’s secretary, Tijjani Borodo, the board will also discuss whether to approve a dividend payout to shareholders, subject to the approval of the AGM.
First Bank had last month issued a profit warning, the effect of the adverse economic conditions in Nigeria.
FBN Holdings Plc, in 2014 made a PAT of N82.8 billion, as against N70.6 billion in 2013
Its gross earnings grew to N480.6 billion, from N396.2 billion in 2013.
The group paid a cash dividend of N0.10k per 50 kobo Ordinary Share and a scrip (bonus) issue of one (1) Share for every ten shares held amounting to a total distribution of N1.05k per share.
Lafarge Africa Plc has also scheduled a board meeting for 16 March in Ikoyi Lagos.
The board will consider the company’s audited accounts and make recommendations for dividend payment, according to Uzoma Uja, the company’s secretary.
