R-L: Pastor Ituah and Ibidun Ighodalo

Today marks nine years when Ituah-Ighodalo, the former flamboyant Pastor of Christ Church, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and now the founder (and Head Pastor, Trinity House Church), secretly took former beauty queen and Lux girl, Ibidun Ajayi to the altar.

In a tribute Ibidunni wrote on her Facebook wall, she started by saying that “nine years have flown by just like the blink of an eye. You, my darling are the reason it’s flown by because you have made it an amazing and enjoyable ride.”

Continuing she said, “You have been sacrificial, sincere, loyal, truthful and most of all loving. I would choose you over and over again sweetie. There’s no one I’d rather go through this life with than you, baby. You are more than enough for me and I bless the day you came into my life. Here’s to my many more years in joy, laughter and all round pleasure. Always and forever. Your very own.” She ended it by signing Kokoye.

Pastor Ituah Ighodalo had earlier married his first wife, Lucy-Ann Summer, abroad and both of them lived happily until the flashy Pastor decided to relocate to Nigeria, the decision that did not go down well with his former wife. The Pastor waited for 10 solid years before he took Ibidunni to the altar.

His action made the authorities of the Redeemed Christian Church of God to ask him to step aside from his pastoral duty in the church. This made him to resign and he founded his own church, Trinity House Church.
