Nigeria’s former President, Olusegun Obasanjo surprised many in Ile-Ife, Osun State on Friday when he prostrated twice for the new monarch, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, during a visit.
He was accompanied by Otunba Fasawe, among others.
Obasanjo who called Ooni his ‘father’, was also praised in turn by Oba Ogunwusi as a prominent African leader, who “loves Yoruba culture and has been promoting it.”
