Ivory Coast: Ouattara shuffles cabinet

President Ouattara of Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast’s President Alassane Ouattara replaced top ministers in the government of French-speaking West Africa’s largest economy on Tuesday in a cabinet shake-up that follows his re-election in a landslide poll victory last year.

Ouattara changed his justice and foreign ministers as well as the key deputy ministers of finance and defence, a senior official with the presidency said at a news conference. The defence and finance portfolios are held by Ouattara and Prime Minister Daniel Kablan Duncan.
