NFF head of protocol shot dead

Suspected armed robbers have killed the head of protocol of the Nigerian Football Federation.

Ibrahim Abubakar was shot dead this morning, when the gunmen invaded his Abuja home early today. He will be buried today.

The NFF announced his death on Twitter, saying the Kaduna-born football administrator is being conveyed to his hometown of Kaduna, where he would be buried in accordance with Islamic rites.

Abubakar, graduated from  Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1995. He  studied political science. He also attended Rimi College, Kaduna.
