The 10th edition of The Headies, the annual music awards, hitherto scheduled to hold on Wednesday 30 December, has now been moved by two days.
The organisers, in a statement on Monday, announced that the highly anticipated show will now hold on New Year’s Day Friday, 1 January 2016.
The postponement, it was said, would add another opportunity for the organisers to deliver an event many expect to be truly remarkable.
This year’s Headies will be hosted by dance queen Kaffy and ace stand up comedian Bovi.
The awards ceremony holding at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos will witness performances from 2Face, Vector, Falz, Iyanya, Seyi Shay, Adekunle Gold, Olamide, Simi, Victoria Kimani, Eva Alordiah and more.
