Nigeria’s social media may be committing another murder, with unconfirmed reports of the death of former petroleum minister, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke.
Some reports to prepare a foundation for the death report said a family meeting has been summoned over her ‘deteriorating’ health.
But the rumours were quickly squelched with the same lightning speed it came, with family members debunking the story.
The Will quoted Mr Kevin Alonso, an adviser to Mrs. Alison-Madueke, when she served as Minister who dismissed her death rumours.
Saharareporters also quoted Oscar Onwudiwe, a lawyer to Diezani as debunking the rumour as well.
Diezani has been ill in London, battling malignant cancer.
