An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale with a depth of 10.0 km jolted 367 km east of Tajikistan’s capital of Dushanbe at 07:50 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The earthquake was felt in northern Pakistan and resonated in Islamabad, the capital.
There are currently no reports of injuries and damage.
