President Muhammadu Buhari, alongside England’s Queen Elizabeth and Prime Minister, David Cameron were among the leaders of the Commonwealth nations attending the summit in Malta. Secretary General of commonwealth Kamalesh Sharma, President of Srilanka and Chairperson of Commonwealth- Maithripala Sirisena,  along with Prime Minister Joseph Muscat of Malta welcomed all the leaders to the summit.
