In a manner that may be akin to a political volcano, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike this evening fired 14 Permanent Secretaries. Many of them were appointed by the immediate Past Governor Chibuike Amaechi.

In a statement signed by Simeon Nwakaudu, the Special Assistant to the Governor for the Electronic media reaveals “The Governor approved the compulsory retirement of 14 Permanent Secretaries from the Rivers State Civil Service.”

The Permanent Secretaries compulsorily retired include: Ms. Kadilo-Brown, Sir. Somieari L. Isaac – Harry, Barr. Michael M. West, Nuka Nadum Nwikpasi

Others include: Mrs. Iragunima Comfort M.,Collins Davidson,Barr. (Mrs) Otonyetarie I. Okorie, Asoelu Gayamos Ogo,Dr. Mrs. Jumbo Justina A.,Kingsley F. Hart,Austin Orlu-Orlu, Sir. Samuel J. Egbe, Sam Woka and Ngozi Yagba Abu
Their retirement takes immediate effect
