Doubts over Paris Climate summit

Nicolas Sarkozy: demands the Climate talks be put off

Will the Climate Summit billed to start in Paris,  the French capital from 30 November still go ahead?

In the aftermath of the deadly attacks on the city by terrorists, a campaign to postpone it by several months is already afoot.

Leading it is former French president Nicolas Sarkozy.

He said he will demand the  talks in Paris be postponed by several months.

The French government has said the conference, which begins on November 30, will take place as planned, but one of the party sources said: “Going ahead with it would mean taking unbelievable risks.”
