Pro-Biafra protesters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, who began their agitation from Aba-Oyigbo axis today split into different groups. Some of them where later sighted along Rumuola, Ikwerre road, Rumukrushi.
As a precautionary measure, security agencies have mounted checks in all major entries and exits into Port Harcourt, perhaps as a proactive measure to check the spontaneity in the influx of protesters from outside the state.
Francis Adesanya, Deputy Commissioner of Police, said they will not rest until they quell the protest without destroying lives and property.
Meanwhile, the pro-Biafra youths are cashing in on the civility of security agencies who are only applying minimal force on them.
TheNEWS observed that even the military men just watched and fired gunshots into the air, while the Police fired teargas.

There is no reason whatsoever to shoot at unarmed civilians. Buhari may think the British will protect him but like Mubarak or Charles Taylor he might end up in war crimes tribunal.He does not know that this agitation will take everyone back to the 67-70 genocide which incidentally Buhari was part of. It unfortunate that black people are ready to kill for what oyibo created and the same oyibo and Uk with Scotland of 6 Million people wanting to secede held a referendum but black people can never organize anything.
