Chelsea FC are far from conquering their demons in the current Barclays Premier League as they lost the points at stake to their hosts Stoke City on Saturday.
A 54th minute goal by Marko Arnautovic did the damage, from which Chelsea were unable to recover.
The loss, the third league defeat in a row, made Chelsea, the defending champions sink further on the league table, from the 15th last week to 16th, just three points away from the relegation zone.
Although Chelsea had more of the attacking play, especially in the first half and late on in the game, but Stoke made the vital difference when Marko Arnautovic found the net to compound Coach Jose Mourinho’s problems.
Chelsea have now lost seven league matches this season out of 12 played so far.
