President Muhammadu Buhari on the sideline of the India-Africa summit took time to speak with Channels TV on the state of Nigeria.
In the interview, he sensationally revealed that Nigeria is flat broke and cannot pay salaries.
He said Nigeria was ‘materially and morally vandalised’ by the previous government and hinted that government will be trimmed and that there may be ministers without portfolio. The country he said is broke.’Where is the money?’, he asked.
He also spoke about the benefits of the summit, Boko Haram war, his government’s anti-corruption crusade and says he wants to be remembered as a president who fought corruption to a standstill in Nigeria.
