Badaru appoints HOS, 12 aides

Governor  Muhammad Abubakar Badaru of Nigeria’s north western Jigawa state on Monday approved the appointment of Alhaji Muhammad Tahir as the State’s Head of Civil Service.

The approval was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Adamu Fanini, made available in Dutse.

Tahir was a Permanent Secretary, Administration and Special Service in the office of Head of Civil Service before his new appointment.

The statement also disclosed that the governor had also appointed eight Special Advisers and four Special Assistants in various sectors.

According to the statement, Alhaji Dahiru Dau had been appointed as Special Adviser on Political and National Assembly matters, Alhaji Mujitaba Kwalam on Religious affairs and Sharia Implementation and Ibrahim Ismail, Adult and Higher Education.

Others were Retired Col. Muhammed Alhassan; Security Matters, Usman Na’allah; Revenue and Investment, Ibrahim Chaichai; Dutse Capital Development Authority, Sabiu Musa; Water Resources and Environmental Sanitation and Khaloma Mustapha; Inter-Governmental affairs.

It stated that the governor had also approved the appointment of Hajiya Hauwa Birniwa as Special Assistant on Women Empowerment, Yelwa Tijjani; Assistant on Political Matters (Women).

Bala Idi was also appointed as Special Assistant on Inter Party Relations, while AbdulRashid Ringim got Special Assistant on Special Duties.
