Senator Representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Comrade Shehu Sani, has advised all heads of Federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies in Kaduna to employ graduates within their host communities to contain insecurity problems.

Speaking during an interactive meeting with heads of federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies with the theme: Partnering for Development, Senator Sani emphasised that the heads of MDAs must take seriously the issue of Corporate Social Responsibility as a potent factor that helps maintain cordial relationship between them and the host communities.

According to Sani , the problem of insecurity and youth restiveness to some reasonable extent can be addressed when members of host communities are employed.

Meanwhile, after identifying problems stalling smooth operations of federal institutions such as National Teachers Institute , NTI; Defence Industry Corporation, DICON; National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA; Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS; National Board for Technical Education; NBTE and others in the state, he promised to present them to the National Assembly and relevant authorities for appropriate action.

Briefing Senator Sani, one after the other, most heads of the MDAs presented complains such as lack of funds, cash remittance, revenue generation, failed amendments and amendment of enabling laws for effective operation as factors that over the years hindered their smooth operation.

Sani who said the essence of the interaction with heads of federal government institutions in the state is to know their problems and see how those identified could be addressed as soon as possible.

Addressing journalists shortly after the meeting, Sani however insisted that all federal Ministries, Department and Agencies in the state must work in line with change agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.
