Godwin Emefiele, governor of Nigeria’s Central Bank is different from Nigeria’s 36 state governors in terms of political power. But in this season of cash crunch and bailout, he has become the toast and darling of the powerful governors.
The governors all met in Abuja on Thursday at the National Economic Council, chaired by VP Yemi Osinbajo. Emefiele is a member of the council too.
