EFCC raids Jide Omokore’s Lagos home again

Jide Omokore: Lagos office searched again

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission returned to the Ikoyi, Lagos residence of oil mogul, Prince Jide Omokore Tuesday evening , on a search.

About five  EFCC officials stormed the residence  and were said to have  discovered a vault containing troves of documents and jewellery.

On October 2, the EFCC similarly raided both the home and office of the owner of Atlantic Energy, said to have been involved in mega billion dollars questionable oil deals during the reign of Diezani Alison-Madueke as petroleum minister between  2010-2015.

The EFCC is yet to issue an official statement about the raid.

Diezani, now holed up in the UK, battling cancer,  is still facing bribery and money laundering probe by the UK National Crime Agency and has been banned from leaving the country.
