Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose has urged members of the National Assembly from the state to support the nomination of former governor Kayode Fayemi, as minister.
In several tweets on Thursday, remarkable for some grammatical faux pas, the governor said Ekiti remains his number one priority.
He made a reference to a petition on “how Fayemi sunk(sic) Ekiti into debt. Regardless, he urged the senators to support the nomination, adding that “it’s God that judge(s) people, not we(sic)”
Fayemi is among the 21 persons nominated by President Muhammadu Buhari as ministers. Screening by the Senate will start on 13 October.

It is God that judge people, not we. If a child would die, it shouldn't be from the mother. Our senators will not oppose Kayode Fayemi.

NO, they must never do that. An Ekiti man is an Ekiti man. I appeal to everybody, you must support Fayemi's nomination.
