Unlike the last time when University of Lagos students protested the death of a colleague by electrocution, there was no sympathy for them in Twittersphere today.

Reactions to the shutdown of the school by students  on account of bedbugs and mosquitoes invasion elicited a lot of jeers and derision for the students, with some suggesting that the students are trying to avoid sitting for exams.

The University of Lagos protest had created quite a buzz on Twitter early today, ranking number one as the most trended topic in Nigeria, but by 1pm, it was trending at number four.
