Senate President, Bukola Saraki pleaded not guilty to count one after protesting his arraignment. The Senate President protested he was not informed of the offences before his arraignment
Justice Umar has ruled that trial before the tribunal is criminal in nature and as such further argument will be taken after the accused has taken his plea. Saraki is already in the dock and the charges are being read to him.
