The chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Capt. Tunji Shelle, has said that he is fully in charge of the affairs of the party in the state, adding that he has moved into office officially.
Shelle who said this during a chat, added that the party leadership has been relating with him as the authentic chairman of the party. He however said he is ready to work with the aggrieved members in the interest of peace.
“There is no crisis in Lagos PDP at all as I am fully in charge. I have moved into the office officially the day I did my press conference. I travelled to Bayelsa to solidarise with the state governor on his official declaration for second term. I arrived last Wednesday and I am presently in the office with some of my staff. I am always in touch with the national body of the party. They want to do e-registration exercise in all the states. All the documents are coming to me. The aggrieved members I understand are now looking for reconciliation which is okay by me. I don’t have any issue with anybody. Once they are ready to work, I am ready to work too” he said,” said he.
