Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state,southwest,Nigeria was among the delegates that followed President Muhammed Buhari to France earlier today.

President Muhammed Buhari was on a  three-day official visit to France to meet with President Francois Hollande and Nigerians in the country.

While in France, Governor Amosun is billed to hold meetings with some foreign investors and also sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Lafarge Africa on the redevelopment of Aworo Forest Reserves located in Yewa North local government and Imeko Games Reserves in  Imeko-Afon local government area.

Both projects are located  in the Ogun West Senatorial District of the state.

In a statement signed today by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Barr.Taiwo Adeoluwa, the governor will  leave France on Thursday and depart for Saudi Arabia to perform this year’s hajj.

Amosun has, however, in a letter to the State House of Assembly, authorized the Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Yetunde Onanuga to hold forte in his absence.
