Novak Djokovic made a mincemeat of Marin Cilic, in the first semi-final of the US Open, defeating him 6-0, 6-1, 6-2.

Cilic is the defending champion. He never gave The man called The Djoker, any problem whatsoever, except in the third set, when he broke Djokovic, to serve at 2-2. But Djokovic broke him back immediately. And he never won a single game thereafter, making Djokovic wrap up the whole affair, 6-2.

Djokovic, the world number one now awaits the winner of the second semi-final between Roger Federer and fellow Swiss mate, Stan Wawrinka.
