The Nigerian Defence Academy has honoured two distinguished Nigerians with honorary doctorates. They are General Alani Akinrinade, a former Nigerian army chief and minister of agriculture and Alhaji Yusuf Maitama Sule, a former Nigerian ambassador and politician.
While Akinrinade was honoured with a doctorate in Management sciences, Sule got a doctorate in letters.
President Muhammadu Buhari witnessed the investiture and also the convocation of cadets of the Regular Course 62 of the academy.
