The Nigerian police has unveiled the identity of the man who was attempting to stowaway by hiding in the tyre compartment of a Medview Airline plane bound for Ghana.
He is Festus Chikelube, from Anambra state. He is 24 years old.
The suspect was nabbed at the tarmac of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two.
The police said the suspect had travelled by road from Anambra State to Lagos before finding his way into the airport through its perimeter fence.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Airport Command, Mr. Alabi Joseph, who said this, added that Chikelubbe was making confessional statements to the police.
