Former President Olusegun Obasanjo snubbed reporters Tuesday over what he discussed with President Muhammadu Buhari, when they met at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The two leaders met in a closed meeting for about one hour at the President’s office.

Details of the meeting were not disclosed, except photographs taken when Obasanjo arrived the Villa for the meeting and when he left one hour after.

Inquisitive State House reporters who laid ambush for Obasanjo as Buhari saw him to his vehicle around 4:17p.m were snubbed by the former leader.

He simply rebuffed them: “Comot joo”. Obasanjo had coined several pidgin phrases in the past, such as ‘I dey kampe’.

Buhari on August 21 named Obasanjo as his special envoy to mediate and find a solution to the crisis brewing in Guinea Bissau.
